On the 25th December 2020
, the weather was sunny. It was Christmas day and the first time we went out our island. I put on a baseball cap, a pair of sunglasses, and some sunscreen. We looked forward to this trip very much.
We went to the Lamma Island by ship. On the way there, the picture below was all my imagination.
At the beach, beautiful women in bikinis are sunbathing. Men are surfing on a surfboard. Children are playing in the sand with the bucket and spade. Some people are playing the kites and catching the crabs. A group of people are playing the beach ball. Some are lying on the deck chair under the parasol.
They almost all are wearing the swimsuit or shorts, put on the sunglasses, sun hats and flip flops. They look cool and comfortable.
They are setting up many tents near the beach for the camp. They prepared a lot of delicious food. They enjoy the picnic.
It took us about 30 minutes to arrive there. We went out the pier, we followed the flow of people through some small villages and went to the beach. The actual situation was different from my imagination. Really the situation was as below.
During the pandemic of COVID-19, we must take two meters social distancing when you are in public. Many persons stay at home, but a few go out. Maybe in the winter, fewer go to the beach. The beach is so quiet and wide.
This is the best opportunity to see the scenery. We looked at the clear sea water, ran with the waves and listened to the waves, felt the wind blowing gently. We could slowly appreciate all kinds of colorful stones. This is the bluest sea and the most beautiful stone I have seen in my memory. We could sing and laugh loudly. It was so nice that I didn’t want to leave.
This is the best time to take pictures. We can shoot as many as we want without worrying about others entering the picture.
At the top of the picture, an old man was fishing. At the beach, some families were camping. It reminded me that when I was in the ship many people carried a lot of luggage, because they wanted to sleep on the beach.
Viewing this environment, I wanted to have a camp here next time.
