上次去丹佛美术馆，就喜欢上美国西部画，回家还忍不住临摹了三幅，包括第一张镇馆之作。去年冬天参观了Broadmoor hotel的收藏画作，开始了解这些西部画创作的由来和名家名作。

这次再看丹佛美术馆的西部画，有旧识，有新知，仿佛以画会友，用画笔呈现这片土地之美。无论哈德逊河派纪念碑式的风格，还是taos艺术家接地气的风格，或者千禧年后近乎卡通的风格，都是很好的演绎，某个瞬间身临其境地的感觉。
