上次去丹佛美術館，就喜歡上美國西部畫，回家還忍不住臨摹了三幅，包括第一張鎮館之作。去年冬天參觀了Broadmoor hotel的收藏畫作，開始瞭解這些西部畫創作的由來和名家名作。

這次再看丹佛美術館的西部畫，有舊識，有新知，彷彿以畫會友，用畫筆呈現這片土地之美。無論哈德遜河派紀念碑式的風格，還是taos藝術家接地氣的風格，或者千禧年後近乎卡通的風格，都是很好的演繹，某個瞬間身臨其境地的感覺。
